Evan Kroll Ph.D.

          Dr. Evan Kroll has been practicing psychology for over twenty years. Blending humor, compassion, and insight, with cognitive behavioral methods, Dr. Kroll specializes in the treatment of Social Anxiety Disorder and shyness but also treats children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, phobias, anger, OCD, and ADHD.

         As a professor of psychology at Touro University,  Dr. Kroll teaches classes in child development, addictions, and psychology of motivation. During the summer, Dr. Kroll works at Camp HASC as a support psychologist to staff members. He is a sought-after presenter to schools, camps, podcasts, and organizations on a wide range of topics.

         Dr. Kroll earned his Master's Degree from Columbia University and his Doctorate in Clinical-School Psychology from Hofstra University. His dissertation investigated effective communications strategies to influence adolescent healthy decision making. He is a Certified Marijuana Addictions Treatment Specialist and has worked as both a teacher and psychologist in schools in Bergen County and Manhattan. He has served as a clinical psychology supervisor and as an expert evaluator in school psychology legal matters. Dr. Kroll is licensed to practice psychology in New Jersey (NJ 5431), New York (016659-1) and with PSYPACT Teletherapy (11214).​
 

Elizabeth Kroll-Taubenfeld Ph.D.

          Dr. Elizabeth Kroll-Taubenfeld approaches therapy with a warmth, curiosity and acceptance while taking a collaborative approach to help individuals meet their therapy goals. Her expertise includes anxiety and mood related disorders, trauma, OCD, and phobias. She enjoys working with both children and adults and has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy. Dr. Kroll-Taubenfeld has a particular interest in women's mental health, focusing on reproductive mental health, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

 

        Trained in evidence-based interventions, Dr. Kroll-Taubenfeld's approach to therapy integrates behavior therapy modalities within a nurturing environment. She trained at Center for Anxiety, Stern College for Women, and the New York Presbyterian Eating Disorder Program.

        Dr. Kroll-Taubenfeld earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University and her Bachelors degree from Touro College, Landers College for Women.  Her dissertation tested the effectiveness of different exposure therapy modalities to treat Fear of Flying.  Dr. Kroll-Taubenfeld is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey (NJ 35SI00762700).
